It's a charming piece of American pottery history, perfect for a patriotic display, a July 4th vignette, or an America 250th anniversary shelf.
Berggren Trayner was founded in 1948 by Arthur and Audrey Berggren in Libertyville, Illinois, known for original designs on mugs, tiles, and plates using their own unique ceramic recipe. In 1986 they sold their designs and formula to Bergquist Imports, which makes original Berggren-marked pieces like this one a genuine collector's find today.
