  • Details:  This is such an original mug and not easily found today!  It was made by an American Pottery company called Berggren Trayner, especially for our Bicentennial Celebration "1776 - 1976".   This company made their own designs, this one has a Federal Blue Eagle with a red white and blue shield on it's chest, red and blue stars on the bottom and a red ribbon swirling behind it and on the sides, same design on both sides.   It is signed "Berggren", on the side and stamped on the clay "USA". There is a condition issues, please see "Condition" below.  Great addition to your mug collection.  Perfect display piece for your July 4th decor.

  • Dimensions:  3.75 inches Tall, 2.75 inches in Diameter
  • Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Average Condition.  The handle has been repaired, not by us.  Probably best for display use only.  Otherwise, there are no chips, cracks or scratches on this mug. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  All sales final.  Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show scratches, wear and tear and imperfections. 
Berggren Trayner was founded in 1948 by Arthur and Audrey Berggren in Libertyville, IL.  They designed many  different patterns for their mugs, titles, plates and even.  In 1986 they sold the designs and their own ceramic recipe to Bergquist Imports in Minnesota.
