- Details: This mini plate needs no introduction, it is the timeless pattern from Wedgwood called Jasperware. Jasperware was made in several colors including Cobalt Blue, Lavender, Green and perhaps others, this powdery blue is the most popular with collectors. The white relief decoration on this piece, (looks like a cameo), is of Aurora Goddess of the Dawn from Greek Mythology. She was the third child of Hyperion and drives a two-horse chariot. The plate is bordered with grape vines with grape clusters. Never put this in the dishwasher, hand wash only. This piece is stamped on the back: "Wedgwood, Made in England". There are also two letters stamped on the clay, look like CH. These little dishes are called compotiers, which is a fancy name for a fruit bowl, but they're perfect to corral small items like keys, coins, even on your vanity for rings and earrings. They are collected by many and look lovely when several are displayed together on a wall or shelf. - Condition: Vintage Used. Very Good Condition. Please note size. There are no chips, scratches or any other imperfections on this piece. However, there are some light stains, not sure if they will come off with a good cleaning. Also, looks like there were small felt pads glued to the back, they have been removed but can easily be replaced. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
