  • Details:  This is a very old magazine cover from 1935, full color.  It has an absolutely beautiful illustration by American illustrator Gustaf Adolf Tenggren (November 3, 1896 – April 9, 1970) of a little girl learning how to sew, absolutely perfect for a little girl's room, a sewing room or as a gift for a Tenggren admirer.  If you enjoy the Tenggren illustrations, we carry two Little Golden Books illustrated by him:  Thumbelina (1953), and Tawny Scrawny Lion (1952).  The back has a nice Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal advertisement, also full page, full color ad.  This is an original page from the magazine, not a print or reproduction, the paper has age-toning (yellowed) with time but the colors remain bright.
