The bottom is marked "Liquor Bottle, D126 119, Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of This Bottle" — a warning phrase discontinued in 1964, helping date this bottle to the early 1970s at the latest, likely older. The "D-126" mark is a distiller code identifying Seagram's as the brand it was made for. Bottles from this era were often designed to be genuinely beautiful, and collecting opaque glass bottles like this one became especially popular — their unusual geometric shapes and striking graphics make them just as appealing today as decanters or decorative pieces.
