The lithograph features a hand holding a Coca-Cola bottle poised above a stylized world globe, paired with the tagline "Friendliest Drink on Earth" — mid-century Coke marketing at its most exuberant. This example was found in an old Coca-Cola plant in New York State, still bundled after nearly seventy years. The paper has taken on a faint golden cast from age, with the minor creasing noted above.
A striking find for a Coca-Cola collector, a conversation piece for a vintage-styled office or bar, or a gift for the ephemera lover who already owns "everything."
Ink blotters were a fixture of every American desk, handed out by companies eager to keep their name in front of customers dozens of times a day. Coca-Cola's were especially prized for their vivid color lithography — pocket-sized advertising art that vanished entirely once the ballpoint pen made blotting paper obsolete.
