Eight glasses. Ovals and diamonds in the pressed glass, a footed square base. Cape Cod is one of the great American patterns — and the parfait form is the hardest one to find in a complete set.
This is a set of eight vintage crystal clear parfait glasses in the Cape Cod pattern by Imperial Glass Company, Bellaire, Ohio. The Cape Cod pattern ran from 1932 to 1984 — but the parfait glass was only produced from 1947 to 1968, a twenty-one year window that makes a complete set of eight genuinely uncommon. Excellent condition throughout. One set available.
The Cape Cod pattern is defined by its pressed ovals and diamond points running up the bowl, with a distinctive footed square base — substantial and elegant in equal measure. At 5¾ inches tall these are proper parfait glasses, well-suited to their original purpose (parfaits, ice cream, layered desserts) but equally useful as liqueur glasses for Limoncello, Amaretto, Aperol, or Galliano, or simply as elegant small stemware on a bar cart.
No chips, cracks, or scratches on any of the eight. Hand wash recommended.
A wonderful set for a Cape Cod collector, an Imperial Glass enthusiast, a dessert table host, or anyone who wants eight matching vintage glasses with a strong pattern and a well-documented history.
