The Cape Cod pattern is defined by its pressed ovals and diamond points running up the bowl, with a distinctive footed square base — substantial and elegant in equal measure. These are well-suited to their original purpose (parfaits, ice cream, layered desserts) but equally useful as liqueur glasses for Limoncello, Amaretto, Aperol, or Galliano, or simply as elegant small stemware on a bar cart.
The Cape Cod pattern ran from 1932 to 1984 — but the parfait glass was only produced from 1947 to 1968, a twenty-one year window that makes a complete set of eight genuinely uncommon.
