Small in scale, large in presence — this square shallow dish from Royal Worcester's Evesham Gold collection carries the signature oranges-on-a-branch botanical motif with the same refined craftsmanship that made this pattern one of England's most beloved. The shallow form and elegant square silhouette make it ideal for nuts, olives, or small appetizers. The backstamp reads "Royal Worcester, Porcelain, Made in England" — without the Evesham name, but listed as a matching piece in the collection.
Evesham Gold was introduced by Royal Worcester in 1961, named after a local plum variety. The design — fruits, berries, and vegetables across fine porcelain — expanded continuously through the 1960s and '70s and was eventually discontinued in 2015 after more than five decades of production. Royal Worcester itself traces its roots to 1751 on the banks of the Severn River, earning a Royal Warrant from King George III in 1789. We carry additional Evesham pieces — search our site for more. Hand washing only.
A charming entertaining piece, a gift for Evesham collectors, or a small seasonal accent for a spring or summer table.
