It is from Gran Canaria, one of Spain’s Canary Islands, famous for its black lava and white sand beaches, a very popular and bustling vacation spot. While the interior of the island is quiet, rural and mountainous. It features several local landscapes and landmarks, plus a map of the island. The ribs are plastic, with intricate gold color cut-work, and on the guards as well. It's finished with black lace on the top border. These are great collectibles, and also used as home decor; whether framed and hung on the wall, opened on a base/stand on a tabletop, used as a backdrop for figurines or other knick-knacks, or several displayed together on a wall.
