This set of eight vintage green glass highball glasses features white pyroglaze enamel portraits and signatures of WLW Radio personalities from the Midwestern Hayride program — one of Cincinnati's most beloved radio and television variety shows, which ran from 1930 to 1972. Each glass features a different personality's portrait surrounded by additional signatures from their colleagues at the station. The bright white pyroglaze portraits against the green glass make them striking on a bar or in a display case.
A wonderful set for a radio history collector, a Cincinnati memorabilia enthusiast, a country music historian, or anyone who appreciates the particular magic of a piece that tells a very specific American story.
