  • Pattern:  Culver Glasses, Victorian Christmas Scene, Christmas Cottages, Victorian Carolers, CUV71
  • Made in Rahway, NJ, USA
  • Vintage: 1970's - 1980's
  • Details:  This gorgeous set of 22KT gold Christmas glasses are from none other than Culver Glass Co.  We have a set of 7 with a lovely holiday pattern, known on the Replacements website as CUV71, but Culver reference books list it as "Victorian Christmas Scene" and "Victorian Christmas Cottages".  The pattern shows frosted glass cottages lining the streets and people enjoying the holiday.  There are carolers, people bringing home a Christmas tree and a mother with her children, (are they dressed like shepherds??), all outlined in 22K gold.  The Culver mark is in block print lettering with copyright symbol.  This is a great find for Culver collector as these don't come up for sale often.  Would make a stunning addition to any bar or bar cart.  Great size for Double Old Fashioned, Whiskey Double, Whiskey Rocks to entertain during the holidays!!

Culver Glassware was founded in 1939, by Irving Rothenberg, in Brooklyn, NY.  The company moved to Rahway, NJ in 1980.  Irving passed away in 1986 and his son, Mark Rothenberg then ran the company.  Mark sold the company to Moderne Glass Company in 1996.  Today Modern Glass Co continues to produce new, as well as reproduce old, Culver glassware patterns.
