Details: This is such a sweet gift tin! It has a very old Victorian era Santa Claus, this Santa has a red coat and hat with brown fur, not white. He carries a basket full of toys, not a red bag, very well done. The tin has a nice texture, to it, not smooth as most tins are. We dated this tin based on a set of tin/metal coasters with the same design issued in 1986 from Potpourri Press, usually one design is used on several items the same year. The bottom has information on the Pretzels that were sold by Nabisco in this tin (tin is empty). Perfect for holiday use for either gifting food items, for collecting or as Christmas decor.
