This limited edition tin depicts a snowy winter scene with a country schoolhouse, a teacher and her students raising the American flag, a horse and carriage passing by, and geese flying overhead, bathed in Redlin's signature twilight glow. The tin is round with a red and gold color scheme, the Schwan's name on the lid, and a decorative pattern of swirls and pinecones on the sides.

Terry Redlin (1937–2016) was born in Watertown, South Dakota and became one of America's most beloved artists, celebrated for his outdoor and wildlife scenes painted in his signature twilight palette. U.S. ART magazine named him "America's Most Popular Artist" every year from 1991 to 1998 and inducted him into their Hall of Fame in 1992.
