• Details:   What an adorable cookie tin!  One is a series of very collectible tins, from none other than the very talented artist, Ruth Morehead. This angel is sweet as can be, sound asleep in the arms of her teddy bear friend. Don't miss this adorable detail, the angel's halo safely hung on the holly sprig.  The tin is bordered in burgundy red, green and black with a very nice crackled texture.  This will make a great addition to your own tin collection, a great gift for a Ruth Morehead collector or your favorite cookie monster!  This tin is empty.

Ruth J. Evans Morehead was was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Leavenworth, WA. She attended Cornish Art School in Seattle where she honed her craft. She married William DeWitt Morehead in 1946. While working at a major greeting card company, she worked her way up from glitter application to art director. In 1975 she left to start her own company, Morehead Inc. She worked on illustrations, greeting cards, calendars and other gifts and licensed her art for international marketers. Her line of over 3,000 characters had international appeal, customers world wide could not resist her adorable designs. Ruth Morehead died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004 at home, she was 78. Her work continues to be highly desirable and collectible.
