This embossed metal tin, believed made by The Metal Box Co under a licensed agreement with Crown Derby, faithfully translates that language into a footed round biscuit tin with an elegant finial lid: navy blue ground, pink florals, gold filigree swirls. Embossed construction gives the surface real depth. Printed on the bottom: Made in England, Crown Derby. Minor surface scratches and rust spots consistent with age — for display only, not for food.
