Details: This is such a pretty tin!! It is an octagonal shape with two different Asian floral designs repeated throughout the tin. One design is primarily blue, pink and green, while the other is mostly yellow, orange, blue and green, both intricate and beautiful. This tin has a handle, which probably means is an old English Biscuit tin, there are no markings, however, we have this same pattern in a round tin marked "England", and we've seen this style tin / handle before from BW&M Ltd (Barringer, Wallis & Manners Ltd, was acquired by The Metal Box co in 1939), but were unable to confirm. Would make a great gift for a tin collector or to fill with sweet goodies to give away, beautiful in a collection! Also makes a pretty storage container.
Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There are no dents on this tin, however, it is old so there is lots of wear, especially on the gold-metal handle, and there are some rust spots. We feel it's all acceptable due to age/use/wear.
