A regal holly wreath, cast in pewter and finished with a bow, crowns this substantial tin — quiet luxury for the holiday table.
Designs by Metzke was founded in Tallahassee, Florida in 1963 by Dr. Fred W. Metzke and his wife Mary, growing into one of the largest pewter giftware manufacturers in the world, with clients including Disney World, the Smithsonian, and Neiman Marcus. The company closed in 1997 due to competition from lower-cost imports, making its detailed pewter pieces especially collectible today. Because of the pewter design, this tin is notably heavy for its size.
A special piece for holiday decor, a gift box for cookies and sweets, or a treat for the Metzke or tin collector. Browse our shop for more vintage tins to round out your collection.
