This Daher canister from England is a little more unusual than most — the cylinder has a distinctive rounded bump-out on the lower half, giving it a shape you don't often see. The design features cherry blossoms and large butterflies against a background of golden swirls that genuinely evoke the look of cloisonné enamel. Decorative banding in green and orange swirls rings both lid and base. Stamped on the bottom: Designed by Daher, Long Island NY, Made in England. One light scratch, not very noticeable; interior clean with some discoloration consistent with age.
