The artist Jonathon Byron, best known for his Americana Bird Collection, has signed both. One is stamped "Royal Crown" (an Arnart importer mark used on bird and animal figures from 1965–1987), the other "España," suggesting the two pieces came from different sources — Japan and Spain — both carrying Byron's designs and signature.
