Figurine, Bald Eagle Standing on Rock, Porcelain Bisque, Vintage

• Details:  This is a very nice figurine.  It is made of bisque porcelain and has wonderful detail.   The feathers are individually outlined all over this bird.  His eyes are very expressive, seems to be really looking at you, the coloring is authentic.  He is standing on a rock and his talons are clearly marked.  We have taken several pictures so you can appreciate the details.  This piece is unmarked except for a foil label that simply says "Made in Taiwan".  A great gift for someone who loves birds, especially birds of prey like the Falcon and Eagle.  Nice patriotic gift too.  Also would be a great gift for a figurine collector.  Beautiful as cabin or study/library decor!

The bald eagle is the national bird of the USA.  Bald eagles are not actually bald, the name derives from an older meaning of the word, "white headed". The adult is mainly brown with a white head and tail.  They are birds of prey, mostly found in North America but can be seen as far south as Northern Mexico.  It is found near large bodies of open water with an abundant food supply and old-growth trees for nesting.  It is a truly majestic bird.
