• Details:  These earrings are perfect for your favorite Owl Lover!  Hand Made from sustainable Abalone Shell on silverplate.  Storrs pieces have unique designs, hypoallergenic posts and are inspected.  Each piece is handcrafted so there will be slight variations on each owl.  These are lightweight, pierced, with French wire (aka shepherd hooks) and plastic backs.

Abalone shell is s very rare and supply is limited, there are only few shorelines where it grows, also, the harvesting of abalone is a very hard work which makes it a very expensive material, primarily used in jewelry making.
