This rococo-style silverplate vanity set from International Silver Co. brings a touch of old-world elegance to any dresser — the kind of pieces that made getting ready feel like an occasion.
Condition: Very Good vintage condition — handles shows wear, light oxidation on the mirror's reverse side (visible mainly from an angle); mirror casing remains in excellent shape. Mirror is engraved on the back, "For a Wonderful Mother, 1991". Original box is in great vintage shape, there is some fraying on the blue silk packaging. Please review photos closely before purchasing, as all sales are final.
The three-piece set includes a hand mirror, brush, and comb with teeth styled to imitate tortoiseshell, all cast in the Rhapsody pattern's swirling florals. The handles carry an Art Nouveau-influenced flourish in a cool silverplate finish, characteristic of International Silver Co.'s Rhapsody pattern from the late 1980s. The mirror is engraved: "For a Wonderful Mother, 1991". Still in its original box.
