This is Queen of Hearts #157, part of Nancy Ann Storybook's broader Queen of Hearts line, made of plastic with sleepy eyes that open and close. Her white dress with red heart detailing fastens with the original snap button over white muslin pantaloons, and all hair adornments remain intact. The original wrist tag is present, though this one comes without its box.

A nice option for the collector seeking the doll itself, or someone open to a lower price point without the original packaging.

Nancy Ann Abbott began making dolls out of her San Francisco apartment in 1936 with just $125 in capital; her company grew into the largest doll manufacturer in the United States by the 1940s. Plastic dolls like this one replaced the earlier bisque designs beginning in the late 1940s, offering greater durability while keeping Nancy Ann's signature costuming detail intact.
