Poole Silver Company opened their Bristol silverplate division in 1950 in Taunton, Massachusetts, producing electroplated copper alloy (EPCA) hollowware until the company was sold to Towle in 1971. This two-section divided server, pattern #104, is a lovely example of mid-century American silverplate at its most refined: a scalloped border, a beautifully proportioned center handle, and a surface that develops the gentle patina that only time and use can create.
