Details: This espresso cup and saucer set is absolutely gorgeous! It has a wonderful Oriental floral pattern similar to the Italian Millefiori with a large pink Mum at the center and many other smaller flowers all around. Lots of beautiful colors, the teal blue background sets the stage for pinks, oranges, blues and yellows, plus gold accents, all hand painted in enamel. Unfortunately there is a crack on the cup rim, however, we thought this may be the perfect cup to repair using the Japanese Kintsugi, (or Kintsukuroi), traditional repair method of taking broken or chipped vessels and glueing them back together with gold. If you're not inclined to take on this repair project, but still love this piece, it can always be used for display, or to hold a votive candle. Either way, we've kept the price low to encourage you to save this beautiful little cup and saucer. Both pieces are stamped "Hand Painted" on the bottom, very translucent china, really worth rescuing!
