Details: An absolutely stunning collection of hand painted wall plates! All have painted roses in a variety of colors. There are peach roses, yellow roses and variegated pink and white roses, all done in soft pastel colors with highly detailed leaves and stems. These came from an estate sale, the family shared the artist name, Ruth Bennett. Ruth loved to paint, she painted a variety of plates and other porcelain dishes and decor items from the 1960's through the 1980's. The yellow roses plate is the only one dated, it reads: " Ruth C. Bennett, July 23rd 1968", but they are all from around the same time frame. The back-stamp on the plates is not as important as the artwork, however, these are high quality porcelain plates made in Germany, (all different brands). Not that anyone would eat on these beautiful plates but just in case, these should be used FOR DECORATION ONLY, never use with food. They are not pre-drilled, you will need a plate hanger or stand to display. These will be heavy, please keep that in mind at check-out. Wall plates are becoming very popular again in home decor, these would look great in a dining room, bedroom or even a powder room. Also perfect on a plate stand in a bookshelf or side table. Many possibilities!
