  • Pattern:  Vintage Collectible State Plate, North Dakota
  • Made in USA
  • Vintage: 1950's - 1960's
  • Details:  This is a very interesting plate, we've never seen this design before, it's so cute that it could go in child's room!  There's a little cowboy holding the North Dakota state flag and other cartoon-like designs featuring places of interest.  These Souvenir State Plates were made in the 1950's and 60's by several potteries like: Homer Laughlin, Vernon Kilns, Salem China Co and others.  This plate is unmarked but after reviewing plate designs from several manufacturers, we believe this is most likely an unmarked Homer Laughlin plate.  The plate has a beautiful gold floral filigree.  It has the name "North Dakota" written in an old fashioned block font and the state map in the center.  There is a lovely design of a cowboy at a rodeo, an Indian on horseback, among other interesting faces and landmarks.  This is a great addition to a state plate collection.  Great gift for someone moving to the state of North Dakota, or a birthday gift for someone born in that state.  Or collect them for yourself for states you've visited or lived in.  We carry several other states, please browse the site for more.
