- Pattern: Grecian
- Vintage: 1961
- Details: A beautiful and highly Collectible Decanter by Jim Beam. This decanter is shaped like a Grecian Pitcher that was used to carry and serve wine. It is a blue milk glass bottle with a wonderful white decoration of the three greatest Greek Philosophers: Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, (no doubt discussing The Socratic Problem), and a nice Greek Key border below them. It has a very nice white milk glass stopper. This bottle was originally sold with Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, (now empty). The decanter retains its original blue foil label around the neck that reads: "World's Finest Bourbon, BEAM, Grecian". It also has the paper label on the back with all the information about this bourbon. Gorgeous gift for a collector, historian, a philosopher, or anyone who admires Greek history. Makes a wonderful decor for a bar or study.
- Material: Milk Glass
- Dimensions: 13.5 inches Tall (including stopper), approx. 3.0 inches in Diameter
- Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Condition. There are no scratches or chips, on this decanter. There are a few stains and a tear on the back label, all consistent with vintage age/use. The cork is looking a bit worn too. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
