The lid finial is a small sculpture in its own right, and both pieces sit on a round pedestal base. The creamer's gold interior lining enhances the look and is said to offer added protection against tarnish. Both are marked with the cursive Oneida USA mark used before 1965.
A classically elegant set that makes a beautiful hostess or housewarming gift.
Oneida's Sea Crest pattern stands out among mid-century silverplate for its genuinely sculptural handle work, a detail that has kept it appealing to silver collectors long after its original run.
A refined addition to any silver collection.
