The same golden wheat, a sharper edge — and handles that stop you mid-reach to look more closely.
This Lefton Wheat set in pattern #20595 is the most ornate of the three Wheat variations — distinguished by its "picket fence" cut rim, deeply embossed body, only two wheat stalks, and exceptionally detailed handles. The sugar bowl and creamer are both stamped "Lefton China, Hand Painted, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." with pattern number 20595, dating them to 1953 through the 1960s. Lefton's hallmark high-quality Japanese porcelain is evident in the translucency and crispness of each piece — pristine, no chips or scratches.
Collectors note: Lefton produced three slightly different Wheat patterns. Pattern #20/83 has swirled embossing and a ruffled collar; this one, #20595, has the picket rim and ornate handles; pattern #2153 is the sleekest and most modern. We carry multiple variations — browse our shop to compare. Hand wash recommended.
