One large pink rose and a scatter of smaller buds sit against a warm ivory body with just enough Art Deco structure to keep the romantic pattern from feeling fussy, gold tracing the rim and handle. Backstamped “Eggshell Georgian, Homer Laughlin, U.S.A., H51N5,” dating it precisely to 1951. Hand wash only to preserve the gold and decal.
A beautiful creamer for a curated breakfast table or a shelf of American mid-century ceramics.
Eggshell Georgian was one of Homer Laughlin's most elegant mid-century shapes, and the Rambler Rose decal brings a romantic garden quality that the shape's clean lines keep from feeling overdone.
A wonderful gift for the serious collector or anyone who loves American-made quality from an era when it really showed.
