Hutschenreuther has been making fine porcelain in Selb, Bavaria since 1814 — one of the great names in German china. The Dundee pattern dates to 1962, part of the original Hutschenreuther line (distinct from later iterations made by other manufacturers). The embossed swirl body, scalloped rim, and gold edging elevate the set beyond its floral motif into something genuinely sculptural. Both pieces are backstamped with the Hutschenreuther Selb mark.
