- Details: This is a very beautiful, and rare, jam/jelly jar from Noritake. It has a gold encrusted design of flowers, a tree and a butterfly on the front and tall grasses on the back. We have not found any others like this one, it is absolutely stunning! The color is a rusty orange with a lusterware (iridescent) finish and lots of accents in gold. The lid has an embossed stem with leaves and hand applied small round fruits, perhaps cherries, or blueberries, since this is a jam jar, they definitely depict fruit. To add to the uniqueness of the piece, it has a 'V' shaped handle, orange on the bottom, gold on top. Not to be out-done, the matching spoon is all gold with an iridescent bowl. The pieces are stamped with the Noritake wreath logo and: "Noritake Hand Painted, Made in Japan". We can't do justice to this piece with our description, it is truly beautiful and a must-have for an Oriental collector, a special breakfast table setting or just to be displayed and enjoyed. Great Mother's Day or hostess gift, perhaps with a very fine fruit jam!

- Dimensions: 3.25 inches Tall (including the lid), 4.5 inches Tall (including the handle), the bowl only is 2.0 inches Tall. 4.25 inches Wide (at its widest point). Top opening is 3.0 inches in Diameter.
- Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There is a little wear on the gold spoon handle, we feel acceptable due to age/use/wear.
