Details: This is such a retro looking teapot! Wonderful chubby shape but sleek, just like you'd expect in the 1960's, also perfect to serve coffee. The pattern is called Royal Elegance and consists of gray florals, we think they are tulips, which are on both sides, as well as the lid. Platinum rims on the spout, handle and lid completes this elegant look. The bottom is stamped: "Creative, Royal Elegance, Fine China, Japan". It has the built in filter so it can be used with loose tea.. Great piece to display, perfect gift for a Mid Century Modern lover/collector. Because of its simplicity, it fits perfectly with today's Modern and Minimalist styles.
