This book is in such great condition, it is almost unbelievable that it's a soft cover book, made for children, who are notorious for not taking care of their books, and it's 70 years old!! Samuel Lowe hired exceptional artists like Nan Pollard, Kippy (Kay Phillips), Irene Rosko, and Ruth Wood, these books are a real treasure from these mid-century artists. These were dime store books, not expected to last, an extremely rare find indeed. There is a pin mark that goes through all the pages, and some staple rust, all photographed for you. There are no tears, missing or loose pages, no writing. Pictures are the best way to access a book's condition. The last few pictures we've zoomed in on areas of concern. We never want to crease the books by fully opening them, this is why you'll notice the pictures are not always straight.
