Details: This little car came from an estate sale of a toy car collector. It is a 1936 Mercedes Benz Cabriolet 540K, part of their 8500 Friction Pullbacks Classics series. (Mercedes made this model car from 1936 to 1940). The color is a gorgeous metallic cobalt blue that sparkles with the light, a black top and "chrome" accents and has two working doors. The bottom is embossed: Yatming, No 8502302-3, Mercedes 540K Cabriolet. Still retains its original Made in China foil sticker. Great gift for another collector or a very lucky child.
Condition: Vintage - Used. Excellent condition belonged to a collector, we believe it's never been used for play. Yat Ming (formerly called Yatming) was a die-cast car scale model maker, based in Hong Kong. Yat Ming Industrial Factory Ltd was founded in 1970 by Mr. Wai Ming Lam. Yat in Chinese means "best or number one". The Ming portion came from the founder's "middle name". They primarily made castings of American, European and Japanese cars and continued producing diecast models until 2013. In 2015, their diecast line and tooling was acquired by Lucky Industrial Group Limited, which is now producing these models under their Lucky Die Cast brand.
