There is something quietly commanding about a piece that has been in continuous production since 1774. This Wedgwood Blue Jasperware candle holder, dated 1978 and made in England, carries that history effortlessly.
Neoclassical Greek mythology white cameo relief oak leaves and acorns, parade around the entire border with a ribbed pattern radiating from the center. Stamped on the back: "Wedgwood, Made in England 1978." The powdery blue is the most coveted of all Jasperware colorways. At 2.0 inches tall, it's a versatile size — lovely as a shelf accent, dinner table or mantel, and distinctive enough to stand alone, or grouped in small galleries with other Jasperware pieces.
