This single brass taper holder is a genuinely striking piece — a tall column with engraved detail, a square base with concentric circles, and four stepped feet that give it architectural weight and presence. The brass is solid (not plated) and heavy for its size. The patina is exactly right: not too dark, still carrying some warmth and shine, the way old brass looks when it's been well cared for over decades. It retains its original sticker — a gold M or W on a red background — which we believe points to an Indian or Middle Eastern origin. A beautiful stand-alone piece or the anchor of a vignette.
