Details: This is a very old Calendar Sample. The lithograph print features an illustration by artist Katharine R. Wireman of a baby playing in the snow, wearing a red snowsuit. It is signed by the artist, Katharine R. Wireman (1878 - 1966). A sample of the calendar style that would occupy the space is attached below, with the December 1926 calendar month only, (this is a sample, they rarely contained the entire calendar). Would look very cute framed.

Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition, considering its almost 100 years old. This is an original calendar sample, not a reproduction. There is wear on the cardboard piece, missing right top corner, bent left top corner. The print is in wonderful condition, although slightly yellowed (tanning), due to age, no tears, no writing, no stains. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Katharine R. Wireman was born in 1878 in Philadelphia. She lost her parents at 10 years of age, she and her four siblings were sent to live with family who encouraged her pursuit in illustration. She studied at the Drexel Institute of Art, Science and Industry. Eventually she started illustrating magazine covers for: Ladies’ Home Journal, Saturday Evening Post, Country Gentleman, Good Housekeeping and others. Her career spanned over 50 years and also included children's books, advertising campaigns, etc. Katharine died at age 87 in April of 1966.
