This is a well-known Gerry design, though this particular piece left the factory unsigned — there's a space reserved for the mark, but it was never stamped. Gerry's Creations, the New York City maker founded in the early 1950s, was best known for brooches like this one, especially Christmas and figural designs; the company closed in 1996.
Pair it with our other Gerry Christmas brooches to build a set.
