A romantic portrait, gilded in relief, sets the tone for this Florentine-style jewelry box.
This Kellerman wooden jewel case is finished with intricate 3D gilded ornamentation on every side and an oval medallion depicting a 17th-century courting couple on the lid. Inside, red velvet lining protects jewelry, with a removable tray creating a second level of storage below. The wind-up musical movement plays "Somewhere My Love" (Lara's Theme from Dr. Zhivago) — the tune is recognizable, though it plays slightly off-key.
A beautiful piece to display on a dresser, vanity, or shelf, and a romantic gift for the Dr. Zhivago fan or vintage jewelry box collector. Browse our shop for more vintage jewelry boxes and vanity accessories to round out your collection.
