Description: An elegant Mid Century crystal cigarette box with lid. These cigarette boxes are so beautifully made, that today we still want to incorporate them in our homes. This one is by Colony Glass (a brand from Indiana Glass), in their Radiant Crystal pattern. It features an intricate design on the lid, a large sunburst with small stars within some larger "rays". The bottom has lots of fine ridges and pleats. It's divided to hold two cigarette packs, today we can use it as a jewelry box, trinket box or to hold playing cards. (Be aware: we tried with a deck of Poker size cards in their original box, they didn't fit. We also tried it with card size 3 3/8 x 2 2/8, those did fit, but only the cards, not the boxes). Condition: Vintage - Used. Good Vintage Condition. There are small chips on some of the corners, however, they are smooth, should not cut anyone, but just the same, please be careful when handling. Otherwise, there are no scratches or cracks on this piece, all as acceptable due to age/use/wear. Some pictures have been enhanced to show detail.
