This lunch box was manufactured in Nashville for The Bobbs-Merrill Company, who held the Raggedy Ann & Andy character rights at the time — a farm scene on one side, ice skating on the other. Aladdin produced the first character-themed school lunch box (Hopalong Cassidy, 1950), and this piece is from their most prolific era of collectible boxes.
Pairs nicely with our Madeline in Paris lunch box — browse our shop for more character lunch boxes and children's collectibles to round out your collection.
