- Made in Japan
- Vintage: 1990's
- Details: These are not only really cute soup bowls, they are perfect for chunky soups like Seafood Chowder, Gazpacho, Fish Stew, or Shrimp Salad. They are decorated with raised sea shells, hand painted in peach, yellow and aqua, all "caught" in a fisherman's net texture, such a cute idea! To add to the cuteness factor, the handles are shaped like little shells. These are footed bowls, the foot is bordered with a rope design and the top border is scalloped like waves. All finished in a high shine glaze and embossed on the bottom: "Himark Japan". These bowls are ideal for use during Spring or Summer get-togethers. Can also be used as serving dishes on a buffet table for serving Cocktail sauce, gravies, lemon wedges or other small food items, (add a pretty ladle or fork). Gorgeous displayed in a coastal kitchen as decor. Great gift for a boat house host or beach house/apartment dwellers.
