Beauty through restraint — that's the essence of Pickard's Remembrance pattern. Tiny clusters of flowers in soft blue, violet, grey, and aqua drift along the border of this oval serving bowl, finished with a platinum verge and a platinum accent at the foot. The effect is quiet and luminous, the kind of pattern that makes everything set beside it look more considered.
Pickard has been family-owned since 1893, and their pedigree is extraordinary: they've produced official china for American embassies worldwide, for Air Force One, Blair House, Camp David, and most recently a 3,520-piece State China service for the Obama White House. The Remembrance pattern, introduced in 1968, carries that same standard of American fine china craftsmanship. Stamped on the back: "Pickard China, Made in U.S.A., Remembrance, 1968." We carry additional pieces in this pattern — browse the site for dinner plates and the matching serving platter. Hand washing strongly recommended.
A stunning addition to a formal table, a treasured piece for the serious china collector, or a gift worthy of a milestone occasion.
