  • Details:  This bowl needs no introduction, it is the timeless pattern from Wedgwood called Jasperware.  Jasperware was made in several colors including Cobalt Blue, Lavender, Green and perhaps others, this powdery blue is the most popular with collectors.  This bowl is so beautiful with several of the Neoclassical Greek Mythology figures around the outside in white relief porcelain, (they look like a cameos). Never put this in the dishwasher, hand wash only.  These dishes are too pretty to eat on, but you certainly could, as there is no design in the center and it's glazed inside.  Nice to use as a small soup or cereal bowl or even a nut dish.  Traditionally this Bute Bowl, (aka Mazer Bowl), was used as a medieval communal feasting cup or ceremonial cup.  A nice collector piece to be displayed on a mantel, shelf or curio.  We offer a 15% discount on the purchase of 2 Jasperware pieces, 20% with the purchase of 3 or more pieces of Jasperware.  Please Contact Us, let us know which pieces you're interested in, your email address, and we'll send you a discount code.
