The Binding Brewery was founded in Frankfurt in 1870 by Conrad Binding and remains the largest brewery in the state of Hessen. Their eagle logo is deeply woven into Frankfurt culture — the same eagle appears in the city crest and on the uniforms of Eintracht Frankfurt, the Bundesliga football club. Red, white, and black: the colors of the city, the team, and the beer.
