Vetreria Etrusca was founded in Italy in 1920, originally producing jars and bottles for the wine and olive oil industries. Beginning in the 1960s, the company expanded into decorative glass, designing containers that could transition from packaging into candle holders, vases, and home decor — this basket may have been sold to the floral industry for arrangements. Vetreria Etrusca remains in business today, though this particular design is no longer made.
