- Details: This bamboo scroll is really beautiful! It is stamped with a brightly colored scene from each of the four seasons and a short description of what each season brings. This is a two-sided scroll, the other side has a calendar from 1984 with brightly colored country home, a large rainbow behind it and a very large oak tree in front showing its fall orange leaves. These pieces are woven with thread as well as gold paper which forms the long wall hanging. It is stamped on the bottom: "1983 GIFTCO, INC". This piece has yellowed over time, there is also some staining, please see "Condition" below. The scroll has wood dowels on top and bottom. It retains its original yellow ribbon tied in a bow for hanging. We took pictures with and without flash, that explains the variation in color you see in the pictures. These scrolls were very popular in the 1970's and 1980's and they are back in favor, especially in the Boho, Retro and Country decor styles.

There are brown stains on both sides, we see these type of staining often on these old bamboo pieces, not sure what they're from, maybe some type of glue that has seeped in over time?
